The arrival of the RP2350 and what it means for pico_synth_sandbox…

To begin, I apologize for the lack of information or development surrounding pico_synth_sandbox as of late. I began running into major RAM and performance bottlenecks which made it difficult for me to fully achieve my vision.

With the new introduction today of the Pico 2 running on the RP2350, it looks like those limitations will be thrown out the window! 520kB RAM (the original 264kB is where most of my problems came from), 2x ARM M33+ cores with a 150MHz base clock (estimated to perform about 2 times better than the RP2040), 4MB flash as standard (will help leave room for future expansion and on-board samples), and more! Because of the feature parity (+ extras) with the RP2040, I suspect that CircuitPython will support it soon.

Once I get a handful of these boards in my hands (which should be a drop-in replacement with my existing hardware), I will make sure to resume development of PSS and hopefully put out a final product! Yay!
